Why did my page rank drop to zero?

The above is a notorious question among web developer. The google guys are detirmined to teach a lesson to those who dont obey their guidelines. The reason behind your page rank dropping might be due to following reasons.

1- You are using text link ads on your web pages.

2- Duplicate content is being used.

3- Unfair mean to boost your pr.

4- Removing of internal links from pages that have external links.

5- Change in linking structure where RPR is channelled from one page to another by the way pages are linked together.

6-  Page no longer spidered because of robots.txt or meta noindex,nofollow.

7 - You added more pages to your site. This diluates the RPR voted internally.

The above diagnoses may help to protect your website from being dropped but if the drop is due to text link ads showing on your website or other unfair means then you really have to apologise google and remove the causes to be considered back to be rank.
